Autoimmune Bone Broth Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken bones (or beef bones)
  • 2 arrots (chopped)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder (optional, anti-inflammatory)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
  • 2–3 liters water

Equipment

  • Large stockpot or slow cooker
  • Knife and chopping board
  • Strainer
  • Storage jars or containers

Method
 

  1. Prepare Ingredients

    Wash and chop all vegetables. Place bones in a large pot.
  2. Add Vinegar & Water

    Add apple cider vinegar and water. Let sit for 20–30 minutes to help extract minerals.
  3. Start Cooking

    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  4. Add Vegetables & Spices

    Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, turmeric, and salt.
  5. Simmer Slowly

    Let it simmer for 12–24 hours for maximum nutrition.
  6. Skim Impurities

    Remove foam or impurities from the top during cooking.
  7. Strain the Broth

    Strain liquid into a clean container, discarding solids.
  8. Cool & Store

    Let it cool. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later.

Notes
